Experience:
These 14 weeks have been like a roller coaster for me. My first concern is because we only have a basic understanding of typography. After many attempts, feedback, and corrections, I have a better understanding of typography. It was a challenging module, but I'm glad I was able to cope with it. Mr. Vinod's feedback and comments enriched my overall learning experience. It's fantastic to be in one big class because we're able to learn from each other by sharing our ideas and ideas. As a result, I am more motivated to learn and grow.
Observe:
I realized that learning through theory wasn't enough. We have to be able to apply them to the design. We need to be able to use them in our designs and improve our ability to analyze design elements. This step is crucial for us to become more detail-oriented so that we can learn from our mistakes and avoid repeating them. After completing this course, I began to pay more attention to typography in my daily life, especially the packaging of products. I began to appreciate the type design more. Typography is more than just simple words, I admire every design process that leads to a wonderful work of art.
Found:
Self-discipline is crucial, especially when taking online courses. I've found that the time and effort we put in any work is directly proportional to the results. Therefore, we need to manage our time properly, including updating our e-files and learning from pre-recorded lectures. Plus, this theme is great, and it allows us to learn new software like InDesign, Fontlab, and creating Telegram stickers. I didn't expect to learn so much in the first semester. I believe this is just the beginning of a long journey and I hope that my design will continue to improve over time.
