Reflection

experience

During my involvement in this design research module, I often faced challenges and pressures. As someone who is not interested in phrasing, reading, and writing are not my best skills, especially English writing. However, I found myself constantly struggling with the task of conducting extensive literature reviews and effectively expressing ideas. Despite the initial difficulties, I persevered and worked hard to improve my skills in these areas. Luckily, I found myself still enjoying the part of the task, which was the visual design aspect. It enables me to turn my draft thesis into a visual presentation. I'm excited to explore different ways to visualize my research. I use infographics, diagrams, and illustrations to make the content more engaging and easier to understand. This visual design process makes my papers look more engaging and helps me communicate my ideas to a wider audience.

observe

I had the opportunity to observe various aspects related to the research process. I recognize the importance of conducting a thorough literature review to fully understand the existing knowledge in the field. This helps me identify gaps in my research and ask relevant research questions. The observation phase of designing the research module provided me with valuable insight into the research process. It taught me the importance of thoroughness, collaboration, and attention to detail when conducting effective research.

outcome

I found that I needed to improve my interpretive skills. Sometimes, I find it difficult to explain my ideas clearly or make complex concepts easy to understand. This means that I need to practice and improve my communication skills, especially when interpreting research findings and ideas. By better explaining things in a concise way, I can ensure that others understand what I'm trying to say. Overall, this module taught me a lot about myself and provided valuable insights for my future research. I now know what areas I need to work on and how to make my research more engaging and understandable to others
